Famous Mosaic Rescued, Restored After Katrina

After six years in storage and a careful restoration, the Albrizio Mosaic was dedicated and unveiled at the Capitol Park Museum in Baton Rouge.

Conrad Albrizio was one of 20th century’s most noted artists and this mosaic is considered an irreplaceable piece of Louisiana’s artistic heritage.
