Faith Ford Speaks at Annual Summer Institute at Peabody High

The second annual summer institute kicked off this morning at Peabody Magnet High School. The summer institute provides teachers with an opportunity to participate in high quality professional development in a variety of disciplines.

Cenla native and movie star Faith Ford was this morning’s opening speaker. She understands the importance of having good teachers as both of her parents were educators.

The institute is open to all teachers and administrators and covers topics that are designed to help improve their performance.
