The evening will begin with a gumbo dinner in the St. Rita Church Family Activity Building at 5 p.m. followed by a service of the Word with music in St. Rita Catholic Church at 6:30 p.m. and “the burning of the greens”.
Then the 2014 Mardi Gras party begins at the Epiphany Party with live music provided by Easy Eddie & the Party Rockers at Alexandria Convention Hall beginning at 7:30 p.m. Enjoy dancing and partying with friends to kick off the Carnival season. A cash bar will be available.

The 2014 Mardi Gras parades will roll February 28, and March 1-2 in Alexandria.
