Deputies Search for Suspect that Tried to Run Them Over

Rapides deputies shoot into a fleeing car after they say the driver tried to run over them.  It happened Wednesday afternoon near Third and Jacob.  Deputies were on patrol when they say they tried to stop a man, even using a taser.

It’s a 4-door, gold Impala, early to mid-2000s.

Anyone who might know about the suspect should call authorities.
