Delta Care Project Begins in Concordia Parish

It’s a project that’ll be a big help to a lot of area families.  In fact, planners say it’s a win-win event for east Louisiana residents.  The U.S. Army is setting up in Concordia Parish for a good cause.  Health specialists are providing free medical and dental care for the coming week.  They’ll be at the community college and from there they will take appointments throughout the 9-day period.

The Delta Care Project utilizes the 8th Medical Brigade.  They expect to serve more than 6 thousand people.  The project is possible thanks to the grant-writing abilities of Vicki Riser and Heather Malone.  They asked, and the army responded.
