Dardenne Endorses John Bel Edwards for Governor
The man who finished 4th in the primary election for governor today endorses John Bel Edwards. The rumors had swirled for days and today, Jay Dardenne made it official.
Dardenne is a Republican who is serving as lieutenant governor, a post he’ll give up this year.
Dardenne praised Edwards, a West Point Grad, for his integrity and trustworthiness.
The man who finished third in that primary is Scott Angelle, and he has not yet spoken about the run-off.
Early voting begins Saturday, and the final vote is November 21st.
