CPP Host Cake Cook-Off to Promote New Play

It opens Thursday night at 7:30.

4 local bakeries competed for the bragging rights and Atwood’s won. The mayors of Alexandria and Pineville and the parish sheriff were the judges. They tasted the cakes, which are a staple of southern cooking.

The run of the show is each long weekend through September 28th.
