Community Complaints Lead to Arrests in Plainview Area

Deputies say these four face charges ranging from alcohol to drugs, and bad checks. 27-year-old Edwin Allen McDaniel, 24-year-old Summer McDaniel and 30-year-old Tammy Gail Giles, all of Glenmora, and 44-year-old Gyndolyn Batiste of Pineville are accused.

After numerous complaints from the community, the RPSO Metro Division concentrated criminal patrol efforts for three days, from April 18 – 20  in the Glenmora and Plainview areas.  The complaints referenced drug activity ranging from simple possession to suspected methamphetamine labs, reports of dangerous driving and wanted persons in these outlying areas.

The four suspects were taken into custody during the weekend. Edwin Allen McDaniel is charged with Open Container and Driving Under Suspension. Summer McDaniel is charged with Possession of CDS I, Tammy Gail Giles is charged with three counts Contempt of Court Warrants, and Gyndolyn Sharline Batiste is charged with Warrant Worthless Checks $500-1500.
