CLTCC partners with GPSO to certify inmates as forklift operators

The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Central Louisiana Technical and Community College to teach and certify qualifying inmates as forklift operators.

“The goal is to give the inmates an opportunity to learn a skill, have the certification, and be able to immediately go to work when they get out of jail,” stated Sheriff Steven McCain.
