Like thousands of Americans, this afternoon Doctor Rodney Ellis accepted a challenge from his boss. Students, faculty and staff paid a dollar for the honor of dumping the chancellor.

And, in the spirit of charity, the more you pay, the better your odds. The funds raised by the donations on the five Vo-Tech sites will all go to research and patient assistance for the ALS Foundation, dedicated to the cure of what is known as Lou Gehrig’s disease.

And the chancellor issues a challenge to Joe Rosier of the Rapides Foundation and Jim Clinton of CLEDA, the Central Louisiana Economic Development Alliance.
