CLEDA and BAS Launch Makers Mornings

CLEDACentral Louisiana is a community of makers.
We manufacture detergent, other consumer products, railcars, windows and doors, plywood products, energy, power station equipment, roads and bridges and pharmacy automation equipment.
But we also make software, music, literature, paintings, sculpture, fresh food, nursery products, drama and dance.
CLEDA and BAS are launching MAKER MORNINGS as a platform to develop connections and capacity among Central Louisiana’s Makers. We want entrepreneurs, community leaders, artists, managers, manufacturers, welders. educators, poets and designers to join us to build MAKER MORNINGS.
To launch this project with moment, we are bringing in national best selling author and entrepreneur Todd Henry for our first MAKER MORNINGS event. Todd is the author of The Accidental Creative and Die Empty. He has one of the most successful podcast programs in America.
He will be here in Central Louisiana at the Kress Theatre at 7:30 AM  on January 21 as the first presenter in the MAKER MORNINGS series. There is no charge for admission, but you must register in advance. You can do that, as well as learn more about the project, by visiting here:  http://www.whybas.com/event
MAKER MORNINGS will incorporate both nationally accomplished guest speakers/authors and local trainers to share unconventional, yet proven (and well documented) methods to equip leaders with tools to take their teams to the next level.
We may not all be artists, but we can be more creative lawyers, doctors, managers or salespeople. Todd Henry says it another way — “Brilliant work is no accident.”
