Civil War Re-Enactment This Weekend

To mark the 150th anniversary of the red river campaign, there’s a big weekend of activities scheduled at Forts Randolph and Buhlow.

This morning, school children got the chance to go around to different re-enactor camp sites and find out what life was like at the historic forts during the civil war.

Tomorrow at 1pm, union and confederate troops will clash once again on the site of earthenwork forts built during the conflict.
