City of Natchitoches to Host Family Day at the Park June 28

NATCHITOCHES – The City of Natchitoches Recreation and Parks Department and Main Street Program will host Family Day at the Park on Saturday, June 28, 2014. This free event will feature family friendly activities including swimming, games, barbecue, face painting and more.

Family Day at the Park will take place on Saturday, June 28 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at City Park on Amulet Street. Attendees will be able to enjoy recreational swimming at City Pool as well as participate in “Field Day” games and activities such as sack races, three-legged races, and tug-of-war. In addition, a family-style barbecue will be served from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.

All events are free and open to the public.
