Children Learn About Music All Around Them

The summer reading program was a noisy one this morning at the Main Library.

Former rhythm performer Elizabeth Vidos performed for children, teens, and adults. She showed the kids common items around the house that could be made into instruments, then they created their own folk band, and put all the sounds together.

People say she has an impressive resume of performances, including performing with the group Stomp in New York, as well as international performances in Rome.

She is from South Louisiana and attended ULM.
