Child Safety Fair Provides Parents with Fingerprints, Photographs

Now that kids are back in school, many parents are concerned about their safety in the classroom.

There was a free child safety fair today. It provided families with digital fingerprints and photographs of their children. Community organizations provided information about keeping kids safe.

The fair continues tomorrow from 10 to four at Hixson Autoplex on South MacArthur Drive.

Project staffers say these kinds of items can be important if something happens. They say time is always a factor when a child’s welfare is at stake.
