CATS at LC This Week

Really smart kids are special guests at Louisiana College this week.  They haven’t started college early, but it might seem that way.  These elementary and junior high school students are spending two weeks receiving accelerated enrichment experiences.

CATS is the Center for Academically Talented Students, and, it’s a dual learning opportunity.  The students push the academic envelope a bit, and so do these teachers.  They learn how to challenge the gifted children.
