Cabrini Hosts Walk-a-Thon in Glenmora

Walking becomes a way to stay healthy and raise money in Glenmora today. Today’s Walk-A-Thon was sponsored by the CHRISTUS Cabrini Hospital School-Based Health Center and the high school.

These walkers fulfilled a pledge of almost 2 thousand dollars. That money will fill the pot for the Children’s Miracle Network Telecast right here on KLAX-TV May 31st and June 1st.

The student-based health centers are one of the many ways the Children’s Miracle Network benefits Central Louisiana. They cover medicine, eyeglasses, and even x-rays for children who otherwise could not afford them.
