Burglary Arrest in Dry Prong

The Grant Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report on January 5th of a break-in at a home in the Dry Prong area where guns, welding machines, and other items were stolen.

After an investigation by a Grant Parish Detective, two people were arrested on January 27th.  24-year-old Faron Ashmore and 23-year-old Andrea Bennett, both of Georgetown.

Ashmore is charged with burglary, theft of a gun, and possession of a gun by a convicted felon; Bennett is charged with burglary and theft of a gun.
