The annual Louisiana Corn Festival ended Saturday. This festival represented everything corn, including art, cooking contests, and even recipes for you to tryout at home.
The event co-chairman says the festival started small, but has grown into a large event for the City of Bunkie.
The festival kicked off Thursday night with family night, where they introduced the festival queen and farmer of the year. Other highlights of the weekend were the citywide parade, talent show, and a free concert Saturday night.
All proceeds raised go to the City of Bunkie.
