Breakfast Kicks Off Annual CMN Fundraiser

The annual Children’s Miracle Network will be broadcasted here on KLAX-TV in June.

To help in building the excitement, a breakfast is held this morning to announce the plans.  This breakfast is the official kick-off for the CMN fundraiser.  Every dollar raised by CMN stays right here for the children of Central Louisiana.

The local CMN hospital is Saint Frances Cabrini Women’s and Children’s.

The Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office will be some of the many volunteers the first weekend of June for the Children’s Miracle Network Telecast.  This is the 27th year of Cabrini Hospital raising money for the organization.

And one of the big spring events to start the Children’s Miracle Network is the annual Bass Tourney on the Red River in Natchitoches on Saturday.  This is the 9th year for the tournament held at the Grand Ecore Landing in Natchitoches.

Bass fishermen pay for the privilege of competing to raise money for miracle children.
