Book-arage Encourages Summer Reading
In an effort to get kids to read more during the summer, the MLK Branch kicked off the Book-arage program this morning. Organizers say they wanted to think outside the box to get kids into the library.
It’s all pretty simple, however many books you check out is the number of items you can get from a garage sale.
The garage sale items were all donated by patrons of the library. Items included clothing items, school supplies and some home decorations.
