“Baby Boutique” at VOA Receives Makeover

The Baby Boutique at the Volunteers of America is spiffed up by high school students.  This area of the VOA headquarters on Coliseum Boulevard is especially for babies.  It offers services to mothers-to-be.

The improvements are part of a summer project undertaken by the cheerleading squad at Buckeye High.  They painted, cleaned, organized, and collected donations to make it a better place.

The boutique provides items in exchange for what are called “baby bucks”.  These are earned by families who participate in the VOA children and families programs.  VOA provides social services to families in need.
