Family Art Class Additions

Saturday, July 20, 1:00pm-3:00pm

  • “Pulp Art”
  • Description:
    Families and kids of all ages will create colorful images using paper pulp, after discussing the work of Stewart Nachmias. Cast-off tissue, paper and fabric fibers find new life in these vibrant creations.
  • Cost: Free for AMoA members, $20 for Non-members

Saturday, August 17, 1:00pm-3:00pm

  • “Contemporary Native American Art”
  • Description:
    Families and kids of all ages will explore ancient Native American art-making techniques such as weaving, but with a modern twist! After, discuss the work of contemporary Native American Artists.
  • Cost: Free for AMoA members, $20 for Non-members

  • “Coloring Light with Stephen Knapp”
  • Description:
    Families and kids of all ages will experience the light installations of Stephen Knapp and create colorful light catchers of their own.
