The bomb threat disrupted the day at four Rapides Parish schools.
17-year-old Reuben Byon of Fredericksburg, Texas is accused. Extradition efforts are underway. He will be charged with communicating false information of a planned bombing on school property.
Alexandria police say they developed him as a suspect late yesterday afternoon. They say he’s not a student here, but is originally from this area.

How long will he be in jail?
As in all criminal cases, he’ll have to go to trial first, be found guilty, and then sentencing will occur.
