Alexandria Man Arrested for Domestic Abuse

Press Release – APD Officers were dispatched on January 17th to residence in the 2100 Block of Hill Street in reference to an assault. Upon arrival, officers were informed by the complainant/victim that Turner had a firearm and threatened to use it.

The residence was cleared with officers making contact with Turner. Turner was taken into custody without incident. A search of Turner’s person resulted in officers finding a handgun and ammunition.

Ronnie Turner was transported to the Rapides Parish Detention Center for booking.

50-year-old Ronnie Turner of Alexandria is charged him with Domestic Abuse Aggravated Assault and Aggravated Assault with Firearm.
