Alexandria Hosts Back to School Bingo

The students play bingo to win school supplies and other prizes.

Several hundred children showed up for this annual event, which was open to k through 12 students.

Organizers say they want to help youngsters get excited about returning from summer vacation to the classroom, which happens Tuesday, August 12th in Rapides Parish.
