Aggravated Rape in Glenmora
After a compaint filed over the weekend, a 20-year-old Glenmora man is arrested for Aggravated Rape and is now in jail under a million-dollar bond.
Press Release – On January 30th , 2015, the Glenmora Police Department responded to a complaint in reference to criminal sexual conduct.
After speaking with the complainant and the juvenile victim, the Glenmora Police Department requested the assistance of the RPSO Criminal Investigations Division. A Detective from the Glenmora Substation responded and initiated a joint investigation with Glenmora PD. After speaking with witnesses, a suspect identified as Miguel Angel Ayala was developed. Through their investigation, Detectives were able to develop enough probable cause to support the allegations resulting in a warrant being issued for Ayala’s arrest on the charge of Aggravated Rape.
Ayala was contacted at the Glenmora Substation where he was taken into custody without incident, transported and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. Ayala remains in jail on $1,000,000.00 bond.
Detectives say the investigation is still ongoing.
