4 Gubernatorial Candidates Attend LSBA Convention

The Louisiana School Board Association’s annual convention is going on this week.

Common core and the association’s need for a nearly three percent increase in state funding were the top issues during the two hour forum.

All four major candidates for Louisiana governor attended a forum on public education.

This is the association’s 77th annual convention and it’s taking place in Shreveport this year.
