3 Local Men Vying for Empty State Senate Seat

At least three people are in line for the recently-vacated senate seat of Rick Gallot. The men include Alexandria City Councilman Roosevelt Johnson and Ed Larvadain III, and Alexandria attorney Jay Luneau.

The sprawling district includes Rapides, Grant, Natchitoches and Winn parishes in Central Louisiana and also two northeast Louisiana parishes.

As a reminder, qualifying for the October 24th primary is a month from Saturday.
