3 Injured in Alexandria Shooting
class=”alignleft size-full wp-image-39058″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/John-Green-mug.jpg” alt=”John-Green-mug” width=”184″ height=”225″ />APD Detectives are currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on July 31 2014, in the 2500 Block of Harris Street. Three individuals were injured.
Officers were dispatched to the 2500 Block of Harris Street in reference to an investigation. Upon arrival, Officers located a male subject identified as John Green suffering from a non life threatening gunshot wound. The investigation found that the incident occurred in the 1200 Block of Lasley Street following an altercation between Green and two other male subjects. Shots were exchanged during the altercation.
APD Detectives and Crime Scene were called in to assist in the investigation. All three subjects were transported to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries.
John Green, 33 of Alexandria was arrested following his release from the hospital and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center for the charge of;
2cts- 2nd Degree Aggravated Battery.
The other two victims remain hospitalized.
This investigation is ongoing and no other details are being released at this time.
