2nd Annual Foodapalooza Offers Workshops & Education Opportunities
Foodies and farmers gather today for the 2nd annual Foodapalooza. The morning is filled with workshops on how to make a living with profits from farmers markets. Experts offer instructions on building container gardens and on why fresh food is so nutritious.
The free event attracts restaurant owners, small farmers and people who have their own gardens.
The afternoon was devoted to tours and farm activities including Inglewood Farm, the Commercial Kitchen at the Business Incubator and gardens.
The group also enjoyed a noon meal from local restaurants, which use local foods in their menus.
