Teen Charged with Vehicular Homicide
A single vehicle crash results in one death and the arrest of a teen driver on Monday afternoon in Rapides Parish.
Troopers say 18 year-old Trinity Sullivan of Holden was speeding when he vaulted over Highway 28 onto Barron Chapel Road, hitting a utility pole and then a tree.
A passenger, Brenda Starns, also of Holden, was killed in the crash.
State Police say they believe Sullivan, who was charged with vehicular homicide and reckless operation, was impaired.
He has been booked in the parish detention center.
