“Wild Night of Art” at Alexandria Zoo

Raise a glass to the Alexandria Zoo! Join Friends of the Alexandria Zoo (FOTAZ) at Wild Night of Art on Friday, May 30 beginning at 6:30 pm at Central Louisiana’s wildest venue for an evening unlike any other in the area. Wild Night of Art is a brand new adult-only evening event at the Zoo featuring art, wine and wildlife. All proceeds will support the establishment of the FOTAZ Endowment Fund for the Alexandria Zoo. Must be 21 or older to attend.

FOTAZ Endowment Fund
For nearly 90 years, Alexandria Zoological Park has delighted and educated countless children and adults. To help secure the long-term future of the Zoo and ensure it will be around for generations to come, Friends of the Alexandria Zoo (FOTAZ) is establishing an endowment fund.

The fund is to protect against uncontrollable drops in the Zoo’s budget and inevitable fluctuations in community support and earned income, while allowing the Zoo to continue the vital programming that fulfills its mission. The principal of the fund will remain invested, with earnings either reinvested, or earmarked for selected zoo projects.
