NATCHITOCHES – A water aerobics class will be offered June 4-28 through Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education. The class will be taught from 11 a.m. until noon Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday at the Robert Wilson Recreation Complex pool. The fee is $35 per session or $95 for all three summer sessions. Two other sessions will be held July 2-31 and August 6-30.
Water aerobics is a workout that consists of simple low-impact exercises executed in the water. The program is designed to promote and maintain cardio-respiratory fitness, strengthen muscles and improve flexibility. The program is especially recommended for arthritic and/or pregnant women.
