Water aerobics class to begin June 3
class=”alignleft wp-image-20066″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/Northwestern_State_University_of_Louisiana.png” alt=”Northwestern_State_University_of_Louisiana” width=”146″ height=”146″ />NATCHITOCHES – Three sessions of water aerobics class will be offered through Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education. The class will be taught June 3-27, July 1-31 and Aug. 1-29 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Robert Wilson Recreation Complex pool. The fee is $35 or $95 for all three sessions.
Water aerobics is a workout that consists of simple low-impact exercises executed in the water. The program is designed to promote and maintain cardio-respiratory fitness, strengthen muscles and improve flexibility. The program is especially recommended for arthritic and/or pregnant women.
