Water aerobics class to begin June 2

NATCHITOCHES –A water aerobics class will be offered by Northwestern State University’s Office of Electronic and Continuing Education beginning Tuesday, June 2.

The class will be taught from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at the Robert Wilson Recreation Complex pool through June 30. The fee is $35 or $99 for all three summer sessions.

Water aerobics is a workout that consists of simple low-impact exercises executed in the water.  The program is designed to promote and maintain cardio-respiratory fitness, strengthen muscles and improve flexibility.  The program is especially recommended for arthritic and/or pregnant women.
