VPSO Thanks Community for Condolences after passing of K9 Kaiser

Sheriff Craft of the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the citizens of Vernon Parish and numerous Law Enforcement Agencies for the many condolences received regarding the passing of VPSO K-9 Kaiser.

K-9 Kaiser served the citizens of Vernon Parish for the past seven years and he passed away on June 5, 2016 at the age of 9.

Kaiser was extremely popular with the youth of Vernon Parish and he would often visit with area members of the D.A.R.E. Program and 4-H clubs.

Recently, Randall and Beth Martin, of Hixson Funeral Home, in Leesville contacted VPSO and indicated that they would like to present VPSO and Kasier’s handler, Agent Kevin Alley, with a memorial portrait and American Flag in honor of Kaiser’s service .

Everyone at VPSO would like to thank Randall Martin, Beth Martin, and Hixson’s Funeral Home for their kindness and support.
