VOA Provides Supplies to Homeless
class=”aligncenter size-full wp-image-38789″ src=”http://klax-tv.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/homeless.jpg” alt=”homeless” width=”500″ height=”282″ />Volunteers of America reach out to the homeless on selected Thursdays through September. These are called Helping to Overcome Homelessness.
Instant, on-site services are provided to help people without a home or who anticipate being homeless very soon. Free health, clothing and food items are provided according to the needs of the people who attend the event.
These events are held in the parking lot of Emmanuel Baptist Church on Jackson Street.
