Vitter Comments on Special Congressional Election
It’s the August recess for Congress, and U.S. Senator David Vitter is conducting town hall meetings. Today, he was in Pollock, hearing from constituents. Vitter is a conservative Republican who has been vocally opposing the current administration. He describes residents concerns and comments on a growing controversy about the rushed call for a special election in the 5th Congressional District.
The Senator had pledged to conduct these town-hall meetings in each of Louisiana’s 64 parishes each congressional term. Tomorrow he’ll wrap up his trips in Baton Rouge and Gonzales.
