Two Children, Bus Driver Injured by Suspected Drunken Driver
Two children and a school bus driver are hurt after being hit by suspected drunk driver in Allen Parish.
State troopers arrested 27-year-old Dustin Richard McGowen of Eunice for third offense DWI, negligent injury, illegal possession of Xanax, drug paraphernalia, careless operation and failure to wear a seat belt.
It happened yesterday afternoon on Highway 383 just west of Kinder. Troopers say the school bus was stopped when McGowen hit the back of the bus. The victims suffered minor injuries.
