Trisha Yearwood Concert Scheduled at Paragon
MARKSVILLE, LA – Officials from Paragon Casino Resort are proud to announce that Country music superstar Trisha Yearwood will be performing on Saturday, April 5 at 8 p.m. in the Mari Showroom. Tickets are and currently on sale.
Since her 1991 debut, Yearwood has recorded twelve albums and achieved a hit-list of nine #1 hits and twenty Top Ten hits under her belt, including “She’s in Love With the Boy,” “Walkaway Joe,” and “How Do I Live.” In addition to three Grammy Awards, the Grand Ole Opry member has won three Country Music Awards and two Academy of Country Music Awards.
Most recently, Yearwood has kept busy as a New York Times best-selling author of two cookbooks “Georgia Cooking in an Oklahoma Kitchen” and “Home Cooking with Trisha Yearwood”. She has also launched the Emmy-winning Food Network show “Trisha’s Southern Kitchen,” which is now in its fourth season.
Throughout 2013 the Country music star balanced her time in the kitchen with her passion for singing. Her performances included a George Jones Tribute Concert at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena where Billboard declared that Yearwood was on her “A-game”. USA Today called her collaboration with Gloria Estefan and Emili Sandé at the White House an “all-star salute” to Carole King. Other appearances have included an Alabama concert special that brought to life the Alabama & Friends tribute album, Toby Keith’s sold-out Twister Relief Concert, and a Tom Petty tribute at Nashville’s Music City Eats with Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum.
