Trick or Treat Events Moved to Wednesday!

Trick or Treating Times Have Changed for Rapides Parish.

The City of Alexandria has authorized “trick or treating” from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  on  Wednesday, Oct. 30, in lieu of the traditional Halloween night, Oct. 31, due to anticipated potential severe weather.

“We certainly understand many have planned festivities for Thursday,” said Alexandria Police Chief Loren Lampert, “and we want all to know that additional police protection and city services will be in place to accommodate the Thursday festivities as well.  Please be safe and enjoy your Halloween.”

Town of Ball – Oct. 30, 5-8 pm

Town of Cheneyville – Oct. 30, 5:30-7:30 pm
In case of rain, Cheneyville Trick or Treating will be moved to the old Town Hall

City of Pineville – Oct. 30, 5-8 pm, Fall Festival 6-8 pm

Town of Woodworth – Cancelled

Town of Forest Hill – Oct. 30, 5:30-8:30 pm
In case of rain, Forest Hill Trick or Treating will be moved to the gym at 138 Blue Lake Rd.

Town of Boyce – Oct. 31, 5-8 pm

Town of Glenmora – Oct. 31, 5:30-8:30 pm

Town of Lecompte – Oct. 31, 6-8 pm

Mall-o-ween will be Oct. 31, 5-7 pm, at the Alexandria Mall.

*Zoo Boo was last weekend.
