Trial set for Man Accused of Aggravated Crimes Against Nature

An Alexandria man facing two felony counts of aggravated crimes against nature has had his trial continued until June.

The trial by judge for Leroy Moore was continued last week until June 10.

Moore was arrested by the Pineville Police Department in May 2015, accused of having sex with a juvenile family member who was younger than 14 over a period of almost a year.

Charges were dropped against him in March 2018, and Moore was released from jail. But it turned out that the charges were not intended to be dropped. Moore was arrested again in April 2018 after a foot chase with Rapides Parish Sheriff’s deputies.
