Travelers to Pay Highest Gas Prices in 10 Years

This is an increase from Independence Day weekend a year ago.

And, you’re likely to pay the highest gasoline prices in six years. It’s 20 cents per gallon more expensive than the average last year, which was $3.48 a gallon.

Triple A says there’s nearly a 14 percent increase in travel compared to the Memorial Day weekend.
