Texas Man Dies in Crash

A single-vehicle crash in Vernon Parish kills a man from Spring, Texas.

Troopers say 57-year-old Kenneth Carruth lost control of his SUV and hit a sign and trees. It happened on Highway 8 about 12:50 pm yesterday.

The victim was not wearing a seat belt.
