One is 18-year-old Kyle Chase Rabalais of Alexandria, and the other is 19-year-old Clinton Gregory Woodson of Deville. Both are charged with burglary and theft and with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Deputies were called to Open Bayou Landing Road in Deville in reference to theft of copper from camps in that area. When they arrived, they found both suspects near the location of the thefts with stolen items in their possession.
Rabalais and Woodson were taken in to custody, and items consisting of camper batteries and power cords for campers were recovered.
Detectives from the Deville Sub-station continued the investigation. Detectives say arrests for additional thefts are forthcoming and the investigation is ongoing.
Rabalais was booked in March for similar charges; both subjects were booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center and no bond was set at this time. Both are charged with Theft and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
