Police say 19-year-old Desmon Williams was found hiding in the attic of a home on Northview Street when he was taken into custody by the APD Street Team. He is currently being held in the Rapides Parish Jail on a $132,000 bond.

Police say an investigation into several burglaries led to his arrest. Williams is charged with attempted burglary, four counts of simple burglary, and failure to pay fine. More charges could be filed in this case as the investigation is ongoing.
