Students Attend Spring Leadership Conference
Future health professionals have their opportunity to get hands-on experience this weekend. Several hundred students from across the state are participating in the Spring Leadership Conference which started Thursday and runs through tomorrow.
Students learn about careers, talk to professionals in those careers and compete in competitions similar to a quiz bowl.
HOSA, the group that sponsors this event, also offers opportunities to students that include an internship with the Surgeon General and various scholarships.
