St. Mary’s 5K Challenge Registration Underway

Alexandria, LA – St. Mary’s Residential Training School will host their 8th Annual St. Mary’s 5K Challenge on March 29, 2014. Since the organization began, their mission has been to provide every person with the opportunity to develop his or her full potential, intellectually, spiritually, mentally, physically, vocationally and socially. St. Mary’s believes that all children and adults, whatever their disability, have a right to love, security and happiness.

“The needs of the children have changed over the 60-year history of St. Mary’s. This change has been even more dramatic in recent years than in the past. With your race participation, St. Mary’s can continue to create opportunities for God’s special children,” said event coordinator, Brandy Wills.

The St. Mary’s 5K Challenge Run/Walk will start at 8:30a.m. located Downtown Alexandria, LA. “The race will start in front of City Hall. You can register as an individual for .00 or join a team and help raise funds,” Brandy continued.
