City of Pineville To Host 2016 Dixie World Series

The City of Pineville wins the 2016 Dixie Boys and Junior Boys World Series. City officials say this will have a huge economic impact on Central Louisiana.
The games will be held at the Ward Nine Sportsplex in August 2016.

Local Baseball Team Headed to Little League World Series

A group of local baseball players is headed to the Little League World Series. Team Louisiana from Pineville has learned hard work, practice, and teamwork gets you far.

All-Sports Camp Teaches Kids Team-Building Skills

Kids grades one through 12 are on the LSUA campus this week for the All-Sports Camp.

Thieves Raid Closed Istrouma High School of Football Equipment

Well-known throughout Louisiana as a football powerhouse, Istrouma High in north Baton Rouge is shuttered at least for a year. WBRZ cameras there caught vandals taking the once-proud facility apart.
